About Celebrate Life Foundation
Celebrate Life Foundation (CLF) was founded in 2004. CLF is a non-profit foundation that promotes research on the sexually transmitted disease Human Papilomavirus (HPV) which in turn can cause Vulvar Intraepithelial Neoplasia (VIN), Vervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN) and Cervical Cancer. CLF is a proud member of the National Heritage Foundation (NHF) and Congressional District Programs (CDP). NHF is one of the most active and reputable 501c(3) Public Foundations in the UNited States.
The CLF mission is to educate, communicate, eliminate and promote prevention of the sexually transmitted disease HPV which can cause cervical cancer. Unlike most cancers, cervical cancer can be prevented by preventing HPV.
Michelle Hannah, through her life's medical challenges and overwhelming love for humanity and the health and well-being women, is becoming one of the most influential women of today. She has been molded by her family, education, and personality for a life committed to being a resounding voice for women, particularly in the intercity for the fight against cervical cancer, and to educate about the Human Papillomavirus Virus (HPV). She personifies these 21st Century medical challenges for women.
In 2004, Michelle left California and moved to Washington, DC and founded the Celebrate Life Foundation dedicated to the education of HPV which causes cervical cancer and other cancers. Through many programs such as “Stomp Out Cancer” (designed for sororities/fraternities), Teens Against HPV, and the one and only Survivors Pageant, lives are being saved. She is dedicated to providing education and awareness for her foundation’s causes.
Her remarkable spirit, determination, motivation, and personal experiences make her life devoted to the highest values of human dignity in service to social change. Born and raised in Southern California, she received her degree in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills, received her MBA from Strayer University and a Masters in Teaching, Learning with Technology from Ashford University. She is now pursuing a PhD. Michelle has held several leadership positions, and currently is a Corporate Liaison , Author and Entrepreneur.
After going through another health scare of her life in 2010 she decided to channel her energy into writing a book and pursuing life coaching and embracing public speaking as her gift to the world. This endeavor would only make sense because Michelle has had a successful career in public speaking for 10 years. Michelle has also been coaching cancer survivors on how to “live life beyond cancer” and how to develop healthy relationships since 2004.
Michelle is still connected to her foundation but as she has grown and transformed her vision and purpose. Her book ;The Breaking Point, A- Full Circle Journey "Living Life Beyond All The Broken Pieces" is due to release in Spring 2012.
